'The Post-It Song' b/w 'Julianne' is Be Like Pablo at their best - 'The Post-It Song' features some of the nicest boy/girl verses I've heard since 'Don't You Want Me?', and dropping the needle onto 'Julianne' is like driving a DeLorean into a time when Weezer had better things to do than toe-curlingly awful collaborations with overrated rappers.
For this session Be Like Pablo recorded with Brian McNeill at Ca Va Sound (Belle & Sebastian, The Twilight Sad, Mogwai) in Glasgow. Since they were without a drummer at the time, local legend Alyn Cosker stepped up to the job. Alyn has been the Scottish Jazz Orchestra's drummer for four years, and appeared on both of the award-winning Isobell Campbell (Belle & Sebastian) and Mark Lanegan (Queens of the Stone Age) albums.
We've pressed 322 copies of the record, hand numbered to make every one feel special!
'The Post-It Song'/'Julianne' is released on limited 7" & free digital download on Monday, April 19th.
